1. Introduction

Welcome to SmallShifts. We exist to provide gentle, mindful parenting guidance through AI-assisted insights and secure journaling. Because of the deeply personal nature of parenting and child development, we have built our infrastructure strictly around **Privacy by Design**.

2. Data We Collect

We collect the minimum amount of data required to provide you with insights:

• Account Information: If you create an account, we store your authenticated identity securely via Supabase Auth.
• Child Profiles: Names, ages, and distinct traits you voluntarily provide down to local processing edges.
• Journal Moments: Your text-based reflections on daily parenting scenarios.
• Subscription Data: App Store receipt information necessary for unlocking Premium access (we do not process raw financial/credit card data).

3. How We Process Your Data (AI Ethics)

When you request an AI insight or recalibration:

• Your journal text and child traits are transmitted securely to our isolated Language Models.
• No Training: Your private data is strictly sandboxed. We do not use your entries to train or fine-tune public baseline AI models.
• Once the AI generates a response array, the transaction is closed.

4. iCloud Synchronization

SmallShifts utilizes Apple's native CloudKit ecosystem. This means your private moments can sync seamlessly across your personal, authenticated Apple devices. We are unable to view or decrypt iCloud-stored payloads that remain locked to your Apple ID.

5. Account Deletion and Data Scrubbing

You maintain the right to unconditionally scrub your data. Using the "Delete Account" button within the SmallShifts Profile tab instantly drops your Account, Subscriptions, and all relational Journal Moments from our active database via an irreversible Cascade Delete constraint.
